Minimalist Floral Simple Bullet Journal Plan With Me Part 2
Bullet journals take some work to set up, but it is so worth it! Today, I want to share with you the second half of my bullet journal setup for 2022. These are some of the collection pages I added to my 2022 bullet journal! If you are looking for minimalist aesthetic bullet journal inspiration then you are in the right place!

Of course, I may be a little biased! 😂
I tried to make the layouts in this bullet journal minimalist, but some of them are still kind of complicated because of the floral theme I am going with this year.
The fonts I am going to be using in my bullet journal this year are my normal handwriting, small capital letters, and Darling Modern Luxury Cursive.
I'm excited to show you these layouts, so let's get right into the post!
Supplies Used for My 2022 Bullet Journal Setup
First, I want to share with you the supplies I used for this setup.
Just a little recap! Back in 2020, I used a Minimalism Art Notebook from Amazon. (I just checked on Amazon to find it, and the notebook I bought is no longer being sold so I can't speak for the quality of their newer notebooks, which may be better) The binding on the Minimalism Art notebook broke halfway through the year, so I decided to move to a Scrivwell notebook for 2021, and guess what?
I LOVED using it! I have absolutely no complaints about the Scrivwell dotted notebooks (I am not getting paid to say that), and so I am using one again this year. For under $15, I am super happy with the quality and thickness of the pages, the number of pages, and the fact that it comes with two bookmarks!
If you've been reading my blog for a while, then you might be surprised that I picked a black bullet journal notebook this year. All of my other journals and planners are pink! Well, the reason why I chose black instead of pink is because I wanted to buy the same brand, but I didn't want to have two identical journals.
Plus, I'm starting a new chapter of my life this year, so I thought it was time for a change!
Besides, my notebook, here are some of my other supplies...
- Ecoline Brush Pens - The Ecoline brush pens are the newest addition to my stationery collection and I really like them, but they are on the pricey side. The ink is really smooth and juicy though. :)
- Black Sharpie Pen - If you have read any of my other posts, then you will probably know that I always use a black Sharpie pen for writing in my bullet journal. These ones have smooth ink and they last for a fairly long time.
- Tombow Fudesonuke Brush Pens - Another great option for beginners, the Tombow Fudesonuke brush pens come in a two-pack: one hard tip, and one soft tip. The hard-tip brush pen is better suited for beginners and smaller calligraphy, while the soft-tip brush pen is for calligraphy with thicker strokes.
- Tombow Dual-Tip Brush Pens - Even though these ones are a little bit expensive, they are double-tipped: one side is a brush tip, and the other side has a regular pointed tip, making them good for multiple purposes.
- White Gel Pen - I use a white gel pen to mark out any mistakes I make on my layouts, and while it is sometimes still a little bit noticeable, it doesn't bother me.
- Mechanical Pencil - I sketch out my layouts in pencil before I add ink to help eliminate errors.
- A Stencil - I don't know where I got mine, but it works as a ruler and it has mini symbols that I stencil onto my layouts sometimes.
- Washi Tape - I use washi tape on some of my layouts for a cute touch. :) (These aren't the exact same ones I have, but I usually buy my washi tape from Michaels)
Yay! Now it's time to get into the actual setup!

1. Highlights
I always love having a "Highlights" layout in my bullet journal! It's a great way to store your best memories from the year. It is an especially good idea to have a "Highlights" bullet journal layout if you don't keep a journal.
At the end of the year, this layout helps me plan for the year ahead. As you can see in the picture up above, there is a section for each month, very similar to a "Year at a Glance" bullet journal layout, except for instead of having space to write upcoming events, you write your favorite events and memories of the year.
2. Favorites
I have never tried out this bullet journal layout before, but it was an idea I had a little while ago, and I decided I wanted to try it out this year!
Basically, I have this blank layout with the header in the middle. During the year, I am going to create a collage of my favorite things during the year. For example.. favorite foods, favorite songs, favorite places I went, etc.
It's going to be a little snapshot of who I was during 2022, and I think it will be a wonderful way to look back on 2022 in upcoming years. You can see this layout by scrolling to the top of this post.
3. Year in Pixels
Last year, around eight months into the year, I decided that I wanted to try out a "Year in Pixels" bullet journal layout. Even though I started the layout around 3/4 of the way into the year, it was helpful to see my overall mood for the day so I decided to make one again this year.
Let's see if I am able to fill out the entire layout this year!
If you haven't heard what a "Year in Pixels" bullet journal layout is, in a nutshell, you assess how your mood was overall during the day, and then you color in a square on the layout. I use five colors, and each color is a different mood. At a glance, you can see how your mental health is throughout the year.
I love the doodles I added to this layout!
4. Books Read in 2022
One of my goals for 2022 is to read 24 books. Usually, I make a "Books to Read" layout, but usually, I have so many book recommendations, that they don't all fit on a double-page layout. Because of that problem, I decided to make a "Books Read in 2022" layout, and not a "Books to Read" layout.
(Last year I had both layouts, but I liked using the "Books Read in 2021" layout better than the "Books to Read" layout.)
Every time I read a book, I write it down on this list, and then I write down how many stars I think the book deserves. I'm finally planning on writing a blog post on books that I recommend reading this year! Maybe a couple of posts depending on how many books I read!
You can see this layout at the end of this post. As you can see, I've already read two books this year, so I am on track to reaching my goal! :)
5. Bullet Journal Ideas
I always add a "Bullet Journal Ideas" layout to my bullet journals! When I start planning out my bullet journal at the beginning of the year, I never want to forget to add an important layout.
If I don't have this layout, then when I'm sitting down at my bullet journal ready to create a layout, I can never remember what layout I wanted to create. 😂
Especially if you are a beginner at bullet journaling this will be a very helpful layout to add to your bullet journal.
6. Wishlist
Definitely not necessary, but a wishlist is nice to have in your bullet journal. Especially, if you are one of those people who never know what you want when someone asks them what gift they should buy you!
I usually am not one of those people! 😂 This layout is helpful for me because if I see something I "need", I can write it down on this layout, and then come back to it later to see if I actually still want the item.
Using a "Wishlist" bullet journal layout can aid you in not making impulse shopping purchases that you will regret later!
7. Blog Schedule
To be perfectly honest, I think this layout turned out so cute! This layout is pretty straightforward. On the left side of the page, I have mini-calendars for every month that I use to plan out when I am going to post what. (I use color-coding)
On the right side of the page, I have all of the dates that I plan on posting on my blog, and next to each date, I have enough room to write the topic. This year, if I have already published the post, I write the title using a pen, and I plan for the months ahead using pencil so it is not set in stone.
Good thing I didn't use a pen because I had the end of this month, and all next month planned out, and then I realized that I wanted to post the second half of my bullet journal setup this week and it wasn't even on my schedule!
8. Blog Post Ideas
This bullet journal layout is a lifesaver for me! I have new blog post ideas all of the time because I get ideas for blog post ideas from things that I am doing in real life.
I'm pretty sure all bloggers and writers will agree with me. There are few things worse than sitting down and staring at a blank screen or page and having no ideas for what to write! It's very frustrating, especially if you have a deadline!
Instead, of expecting myself to come up with good ideas on the spot (because let's face it, when does that ever happen?), I have this layout in my bullet journal so I can avoid the dreaded writer's block.
I don't have a picture of it in this post, but it is just a list of general title ideas for new content. Nothing that fancy! Plus, I didn't want all of you to know what I'm planning on posting this year so you can be surprised!
9. Scripture Reading Tracker
This layout actually isn't finished yet, so I didn't take a picture of it, but this year I am trying to read the entire Old Testament because I have never read the whole thing before.
On this layout, I wrote down the names of each book, and then I wrote down how many chapters were in each book. Every time I finish reading a chapter, I get to cross it off on this layout. I messed up how many chapters are in some of the books. Oops!
Hopefully, I'll be able to read the entire Old Testament in one year!
