The Benefits of Wearing Clip-on Earrings
Let's start with an easy one! Everyone can wear clip-on earrings, whether you have tried earrings and they don't work for you, or you don't want to get your ears pierced, or if you just want something simple to add to your outfit.
That is why I wear clip-on earrings!
Many people think that clip-on earrings might hurt and that they will have to take them off within an hour or two. But the clip-on earrings I wear are comfortable enough to wear all day.
Do you think that someone will notice that you are wearing clip-on earrings and not real earrings?
Well... besides the fact that clip-on earrings are real earrings, no one has ever noticed or asked me if I am wearing clip-on earrings.
People also think that clip-on earrings are just for costume jewelry and that they are large and clunky. This is not true because I have seen many small clip-on earrings that are hardly noticeable as clip-on earrings.
Watch out though because there are some bigger clip-on earrings, that look like they might be costume jewelry so check the size before you buy a pair.
They are easy to wear too, and only take about a minute to put on both earrings.

Why do I Wear Clip-on Earrings?
Okay. Storytime!
I did one time get my ears pierced and I loved them until the problems started. They never healed even though I cleaned my ears with the solution they gave me and then with homemade solutions after the solution from the store ran out.
After struggling for a year to try and get my ears to heal, I took them out.
A year later, I got my first pair of clip-on earrings.
Maybe someday I will try getting my ears pierced again, but for now, I am perfectly satisfied with the clip-on earrings that I have.
Clip-on Earring Brands I Would Like to Try
I am going to be totally honest with you. In reality, I am actually quite new to wearing clip-on earrings, but I wanted to share my experience with them with you and a brand that I am loving right now.
I have not tried these brands, but they look good and I am planning on trying them out sometime. When I do, I will add on to this post with more clip-on earring brand reviews.
Claires
Claires was actually where I got my ears pierced. It totally was not their fault that my earrings didn't work out because I am probably allergic to certain types of metal. You probably knew that they sell earrings, but did you know that they also sell clip-on and magnetic earrings too? I would like to give their clip-on and maybe even their magnetic earrings a try sometime.
Pretty Smart
These earrings from Pretty Smart are also another option for people who can't wear earrings because they are like clip-on earrings, but they have a clear clip, so they look just like regular earrings.
They are also hypoallergenic because they have no metal on them. A bonus for people who have tried metal earrings and they are allergic to them. These might also work for you if metal clip-on earrings irritate your skin.
Those are two brands that I am looking into trying sometime, but now I want to tell you about the brand that I am wearing right now. I find them really comfortable too!
The Clip-on Earrings Brand That I am Liking Right Now
I have two pairs of clip-on earrings from the brand 1928 and you can buy them right from their website or you can buy them like I did from Kohls.
The pearl clip-on earrings are slightly bigger than the smaller rose ones. The clips on the rose ones are also smaller making them a little tighter to wear at first.
What I really like about both these pairs of clip-on earrings is that they are not noticeable as clip-on earrings. The clips on the earrings are big enough so that they look like they have small hoops.

4.5 STARS - PRICE
I really like these earrings because they are not super ornate, which is a problem when you are buying clip-on earrings. The simple design is perfect for wearing for everyday use, which is what I wanted them for.
These earrings are comfortable to wear because the clip is not too tight. You may have to wear them for a while first though before they are comfortable enough to wear all day. I wear these earrings practically all day now because they are comfortable enough to do so.
I would give these earrings 4.5 stars and not 5 stars because when I first got these clip-on earrings the pearl broke off when I was taking them out for the first time. It was easily fixed with a little bit of glue though and now they are as good as new!

Rose Clip-on Earrings
5 STARS - PRICE
I really like these earrings because they are small and they don't look like costume jewelry. They are perfect for everyday wear and when I wear them I usually wear them all day.
The only downside about these earrings is that because they are roses, they can get hair stuck in the roses. I usually wear my hair up or mostly up when I wear earrings though, so this has not been a problem for me.

Below I have some guidelines which you can use to buy clip-on earrings or these guidelines can be used for regular earrings too.
What to do When Buying Clip-on Earrings
Buying clip-on earrings is a tough decision because you don't want to buy ones that hurt your ears, break easily, or don't fit well.
Use the tips below for buying your next pair of clip-on or regular earrings.
1. Pick a Brand
First, decide on a brand. Read a few posts about clip-on earrings and look around to see what other people are saying about their favorite brands. Pick the brands that look the best. If you don't know what to look for, you can type into Google, "Favorite Clip-on Earrings" or "Best Clip-on Earrings Brand". Make sure you read at least five posts, so you have a good idea of what brands are best.
Make a list of 5-20 brands you want to look into.
2. Read Some Reviews
Next, read some reviews on the brand and see if the brand has good reviews. If the brand gets not so good reviews then go back to step one and pick a new brand to look into.
Don't just look at the reviews on the store's website. See if they sell on other places like Amazon.
3. Pick a Pair of Earrings
Once you have found a brand that you like, then the fun begins. Pick a pair of earrings from that brand and then make sure that you read the reviews on that specific set of earrings.
Just because the earrings are all the same brand doesn't mean that their earrings are all made the same. Some could be cheaper or easier to break and others could the color could come off easily.
Pay special attention to the size of the earrings and what they are made out of.
4. Try the Ones You Like on in the Store
If you aren't sure whether or not you will like them. Go to the store and try them on. Wear them for around twenty minutes to see if you like them and to see if they fit well and do not pinch.
Look at yourself wearing them in the mirror and decide if you will actually wear them that much and if they are worth the price. I usually wait until there is a sale! :)

I recommend buying two pairs because then you can see whether or not if the brand is a good one or not. If you just buy one pair, then you can't really tell whether it is the earrings that are bad or the brand.
