7 Gift Ideas For Bullet Journalists and Planner Lovers

It can be hard to find something for everyone on your list, but even harder to find a gift for those who have one main hobby and they already have everything for it! In this post though, you might be able to find something that they already don't have. Scroll on through and click on some links if you are interested.

All of the items mentioned in this post are super affordable because they are all under twenty dollars making it easy for you to shop on a budget! Some of the items in this post, I have not used, but they are items which are popular and get good reviews.

1. Markers

Who doesn't need more markers? I enjoy using my Crayola Super Tips all of the time and they add so much to my bullet journal. Markers come in every color in the rainbow and you can get so many options: hard tip, chisel tip, double-sided.

You can't go wrong with some of the popular options below.

Tombow Brush Pens - With over 4000 reviews on Amazon, these are a great purchase, but are on the more expensive side. They are double-sided though!
Crayola Super Tips - I bought a pack of fifty and I love all of the colors they come in. If you haven't already, you can click on the link and read my full review on the Crayola Super Tips. For under ten dollars, you can get fifty markers. :)
Zebra Mildiners - Zebra Mildliners are a popular option because they come in colors that aren't as bright as highlighters. They also are double-sided.

The Crayola Super Tips are the most budget-friendly option, but I hope to try out the other two types of markers soon.

2. Pens

Next up, every bullet journalist or planner needs at least one or two good pens. You can also give these to someone who is starting out bullet journaling for the first time too.

Sharpie Pen - I always use a black fine-point Sharpie pen for all of the regular writing in my bullet journal. I love how dark it is, but it does ghost through to the other side of the page a little bit on regular printer paper.
White Gel Pen - You may be wondering why I would put white gel pens on this list, but they are actually super helpful. You can use a white gel pen to cover small mistakes in your bullet journal, and while on darker colors it may not cover it entirely, it will still at least make it less noticeable.
Tombow Fudenosuke Brush Pens - I enjoy using my Tombow Fudenosuke brush pens for calligraphy and they come in a two-pack with one hard-tip pen and one soft-tip pen. They are also great for beginners, which are just starting out learning calligraphy or brush lettering. I am pretty sure they are the pens I used first for calligraphy and brush lettering.

If they are someone who is starting out, it is a good idea to get them a nice pen that makes them want to use their new planning system. :)

3. A New Journal or Planner

If you are looking to introduce someone to the joy of bullet journaling or planning, then what better way to get them started than to give them a beautiful journal. You can probably tell I am a fan of rose gold. :)

Recollections Michaels Rose Gold Planner - I have had my planner for over a year now and as you can see in the picture it looks almost brand new. (I use it almost every day, but I do not carry it around with me in case you are wondering)
Minimalism Art Dotted Journal - This journal comes in multiple colors, so you are sure to find one that the person you are getting it for will like and they are under ten dollars too.

Planners and bullet journalists always enjoy getting new notebooks and journals, so don't hesitate to buy them a new one. Just make sure they don't already have a favorite brand!

4. New Planner Inserts

Find out what type of planner they have, and then buy them some new inserts for their planner. If you aren't sure what type of planner they have, then you can go with some new sticky notes and a list of places where you can find free planner printables!

5. Washi Tape, Sticky Notes, and Stickers

Any fun new decorations and they will probably love it unless they prefer a very minimalist layout. Then you might want to get them a new pen. Sticky notes, washi tape, and stickers are usually pretty cheap and they come in tons of designs so it will be easy to find something they will like! 7. Planner and Bullet Journal Carrying Cases

If they already have everything, then what about a new bag to carry their supplies around in? If you know how much planning stuff they have, then it will be easier to pick out an option for them.
